Moustafa has been a Master’s student in the MEDomicsLab since 2025. Prior to this, he completed a research internship from November 2023 to August 2024. During his internship, he developed a pipeline for the automatic detection and characterization of small renal masses using CT imaging datasets.

He is currently focused on identifying optimal segmentation strategies and developing multitask classification models. In addition, he is building an end-to-end application designed to support radiologists and urologists in urological oncology decision-making. This tool is intended to be integrated into the MEDomics platform.
